The core of the Post-2015 Development Agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a landmark new framework that will guide global efforts to end poverty and promote sustainable development for the next 15 years. The SDGs also include, for the first time, a goal specifically on urban areas: the urban SDG.
That’s a problem. For the Habitat III strategy to work, we need each city dweller to become an activist for change.
