Letty is a freelance journalist who writes stories about cities and the people inhabiting them.
She also works as an independent urban researcher. Letty holds Master’s degrees in Social Psychology, Communication Science and Latin America Studies. For the latter, she conducted three months of research in the summer of 2014 on the socio-economic impact of outdoor electric escalators in a hilly low-income neighborhood in Medellín, Colombia.
Currently she is pursuing a PhD at the Centre for Education and Documentation on Latin-America (CEDLA) in Amsterdam, investigating the ‘urban commons’ in Buenos Aires.
