Jesse Fox is an urban planner and journalist based in Jaffa, Israel.
He has worked as a writer and editor at a number of newspapers and online publications, including Haaretz and TreeHugger. com. He has also worked as a planner at several NGOs and public-sector organizations, most recently on an EU-funded project examining the planning of urban coastlines in the Mediterranean region. Currently, he researches planning and housing policy at a startup in Tel Aviv.
Jesse also founded two independent nonprofits — one that provided food aid to asylum seekers and another that has promoted governmental transparency in urban planning and policymaking. He holds a master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the Technion in Israel.
