Eugene Byrne is an author and freelance journalist in Bristol specializing in current affairs and history. He edits a weekly local history section for the Bristol Post newspaper.
He has also written a number of novels, including Things Unborn (2001) and (with Kim Newman) a 20th century alternate history Back in the USSA. His nonfiction books include a graphic biography of Charles Darwin and a beginner’s guide to the life and times of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
